Alan Colmes and repub callers
It never ceases to amaze me how Alan puts them in their place everytime they call him on his radio show.

1. Araxen, no offense, but after watching Colmes capitulate to the FAUX noise machine over and over
I can't EVER see him as anything but an enabler. He is pretty smart though. And, now he's getting "neener, neener" mileage, so he's probably doing well.

Seriously, I don't hate him or anything. I imagine he's honed his RW put down skills. But Wesley Clark and Phil Donahue, on their appearances on FAUX, have represented the left much better.

Or, and Bill Clinton's smackdown of Chris Wallace....mmmm...:loveya:

6. Colmes actually DOES show more spine on his radio show than he does on TV
But that puts him in comparison with Jerry Springer's old radio show. He's certainly not in Mike Malloy territory!

3. HUH???
He is the most wet-noodle of a host I have ever seen! They hand picked him for H&C so that Hannity would be the stronger voice. I admit he has (very rarely) gotten a few words in edgewise, but for the most part, he has been a useless wuss, there just so FOX can pretend they are "fair and balanced."

4. Colmes probably is intelligent.
He just gets paid to make liberals look bad. He's not allowed to confront Shrill Hannity's lies, and has to let Hannity have the last word. His radio show, when I've heard it, isn't much different.

5. I love Alan's radio show
but once in a while I think he comes off as mean. He should at least listen to them, digest, and THEN point out their idiocy.

7. Alot of people
haven't listened to his radio show. It's pretty decent. He supports both Hillary and Obama evenly, imho. I don't watch the TV show. It's just the Sean Hannity show, imo, but Alan's radio show is good. Yeah, he's employed by Faux News, but he has to make a living somehow. I don't think he would fit in on CNN or MSNBC, but I could be wrong.

8. Oh I have a soft spot for Alan
It has to be exceedingly hard living amongst the wolves. He pulls it off nicely, and is still able to make valid points every once in a while. If I'm ever driving when he show is own, I listen.
