Was Cuomo brilliant on hardball, or what?

The Kerry campaign should fire that joke of a mouthpiece, that pipsqueek wh got bitch-slapped by Matthews and the Repub counterpart. He could barely form a rational response to Matthews questions.

But Cuomo, my GOD he was a thing of beauty to watch. No doubt in my mind that he should be Kerry's point man. Tweety didn't know what to do, but just sit there and listen.

1. Cuomo is very intelligent and is more articulate than Clinton.

Believe it or not, he is. If Cuomo ran against Bush I in 1988, Poppy would have gotten his honky hind beaten.

Cuomo should advise Kerry on how to debate * in the fall too.

Tweety.....:puke:

2. Absolutely! I've been a longtime fan of Cuomo. They don't come
any smarter or articulate. I think he would make a magnificent Supreme, (although the repubs would go absolutely apoplectic) or a brilliant AG.

14. I thought Tweety was very respectful of Cuomo, and gave him lots
of good material to work with via his questions. He sat there looking very thoughtful and led the interview in ways that permitted Cuomo to make his points very easily.

Tweety seemed to really respect him, and gave him a good forum, IMHO

20. Yes, I thought so, too.
Chris was remarkably restrained, for a nice change. Just a brilliant interview. Loved it when Mr. Cuomo said that W was simple and simplistic in his worldview.

3. I met Governor Cuomo twice
in Chenango Cpounty, in rural upstate NY. He was being confronted by an angry, hostile crowd. The guy had class, and is so fast on his feet that I was amazed. I spoke to him about some Indian burial protection situations. He said to send him the information, I did, and he took some action. I was impressed.

4. Mario is God.
I never miss an opportunity to hear him.

To be fair to the Kerry spokesman... Tweety is selective on who gets the hardball badgering. He would never pull that crap on Cuomo because Mario would slice and dice him without ever responding to Tweety's histrionics.

Does anybody remember Cuomo on Larry King with Bill Bennett a few years ago? Cuomo made him look like the sanctimonious sack of sh*t he is. I think it was before Bennett's vices became public knowledge.

6. Cuomo is a REAL heavyweight. He is like the Exorcist. He can
dispell any demons. Matthew KNOWS better than to mix it up. It was beautiful to watch Tweety just sit there, afraid to say anything.

As for the Kerry spokesman, he has GOT to go. I could defend the Senator better than this jerkwad.

5. He was fabulous!
I laughed out loud several times...like when he said that Bush was simply too simple. He had a couple real good one liners headed streight for Bushes heart! On second thought...he doesn't have a heart. Headed for his brain? Naw! How about his ASS? Yeah...he's got a big one with a big hole in the middle. What an easy target!

10. Yes, truly "must see T.V." That is, if you can stomach the first
fifteen minutes, prior to the Cuomo interview.

12. Mario's a gift
He is the best public speaker we have. I was at the '96 convention with tears streaming down my face.

"Listen to me, listen to me, please. Listen to me, please. Forget a lot of this political argumentation. Forget about new Democrats, old Democrats, conservative Democrats, liberal Democrats, neo-liberal Democrats. The truth is ageless. Either we make it together, all of us of every faith and color, straight or gay, with or without disabilities, whatever our accent, whatever our task, wherever we are in this great land, whether we are rich, struggling, desperate, either we make it, all of us together, or there is no America worth the gifts that God has given this blessed place."

are correct in saying that Mario truly is a gift.

Could we please have him for AG?
