I'm not sure that it is. It is one more point on which Democrats can squabble with each other.
Please don't take that as somehow favoring the super delegates. It is not intended as such. But we, as a party, need to deal with them, and the system that creates them, on our own.
My fear is that the media will use this as a story line if we get all the way to the convention without a candidate. And not an HONEST story line, either. They'll play it for all the sensationalism they wring out of it. As soon as they turn up the heat under a story they so far seem to be keeping on a back burner simmer, the various factions within our party, instead of trying to find unity, will be like cats in an alley.
I can not imagine a worse outcome for our party - upon which the continuance of our country and form of government actually seems to be resting these days - than a primary rife with recounts and lawsuits. All that will be lacking is hanging chads.
