BTW according to Condi no one considered the possibility of an airliner being used as a guided missile pior to 9/11. This statement reveals gross ignorance of national security issues or it is a lie. There was a movie about that very theme in the early nineties. Gordon Liddy pointed it out all through the late eighties. We were studying it when I was working for DOD in the early eighties. Maybe she is not so well informed after all?

As bright as she is, Condi is encumbered with an untenable world view, incredibly stupid strategy, and a well deserved reputation for, shall we say, taking liberties with the data and other aspects of the truth. She has no honor, and she has been exposed in her lies. I predict Dean will eat her lunch.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Jury selection began in New York Monday in the federal trial of three men accused of plotting to bomb 11 planes headed for the United States on a single day in 1995.

Ramzi Yousef is charged with masterminding the plot. He also will be tried later this year, accused of planning the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993. Four men are already serving life in prison for that crime.

The alleged plot was discovered in the Philippines in January 1995, when a fire broke out in a Manila apartment 200 yards from the Vatican's embassy, a week before the arrival of Pope John Paul II.

Not only do I expect condi to duck a joint appearance, but i suspect that smirk & sneer will use some national security related issue to duck debates with JK & ?.

I saw another post here about it. I will watch the half Dean is on.

Time really has healed my feelings towards him. I'm never going to jump on the bandwagon with everyone saying he was some kind of Goldwater for democrats or something, or even that he helped the party, but I definetly don't hate him like I used to. He gave me a hell of a scare, but I'm confident his appeal to some can be put to good use and good cause.

Too bad they won't be appearing together. :)
