1. She is a New Democrat.
The Blue Dog caucus are the conservative wing, the New Democrats caucus are the DLC's legislative arm.

5. Blue Dogs are the most fiscally conservative group of Democrats
They have the green eyeshades. Cut spending. Not populist
as I understand populism.
