Has Joe Lieberman endorsed Sen Kerry yet?
If he has, I haven't heard about it. He's been awfully quiet since he dropped out of the primaries. I think he actually thought he was going to win the nomination, because he was leading in the polls at the beginning. Of course, that was just name recognition.

If he has endorsed, maybe he can provide a little Joe-mentum for Senator Kerry & the Dem ticket.

1. Quiet as a mouse
What does that mean? I hope he gives Kerry his full support. There was an article in the paper I work for here in CT that had Joe saying that the war ruined his bid attempt.

2. Not the war
The 2000 loss did some of it, but most of it was because people realized and recognized that he might as well be a Republican. He'd be fairly left among Republicans, but he's pretty fringe right for the Democratic party, rivaled only by maybe Zell Miller..

6. I think JoeMo
is a shrub puppet. That's why I could never support him. I disliked him ever since he and I believe Chris Dodd from CT wanted to censor movies and music.

13. Joe Lieberman is not a Republican
Edited on Sat Mar-13-04 08:57 PM by OKNancy
His votes are not with the Republicans and he is NOT a right-winger by any means. There are reasons I don't like him too, but let's speak the truth.

Americans for Democratic Action (ADA) ratings

2002 votes

Zell Miller - 30%
Lieberman - 85%
John Edwards - 70%
John Kerry - 85%

2003 votes

Miller - 10%
Lieberman - 70%
Edwards - 65 %
Kerry - 85%

14. The war ruined his bid attempt - gosh I hate it when that happens
That statement in itself personifies why we should thank our lucky stars every damn day that his campaign went nowhere. That's the worst thing he's ever had to say about the Iraqi debacle.

4. I suspect it would not matter if he endorsed Bush.
Any harm caused by a Lieberman endorsement of Shrub would be outweighed by the reaction to the scandal with their Republican governor (correct me if this is not in CT).

5. Joe Mentum still too busy licking his wounds
First he gets snubbed by Gore with the Dean endorsement without letting Joe know and then the primaries where he could barely break out of 3% after tons of airtime and tons of time in New Hampshire.

Maybe he and Zell are golf buddies.

9. LOL! That's a good one!
Well, if he hasn't endorsed Kerry yet, it seems like sour grapes to me.

10. Joe is going to be on one of the Sunday shows
To give his opinion of the race so far. The last time he spoke out on the race, he told Kerry and Bush to play nice.

Depending on what he says tomorrow, Kerry might not want his support.
