My mother's thoughts on campaign 2004.
My mother saw Dean on MTP yesterday and thought that he did a good job. While she has been cynical about politics, she has warmed up to Dean because he is smart and he calls it like he sees it.

THat being said, she doesn't care much for Kerry. She thinks that Kerry has the tall man's syndrome of being kind of full of himself. I said, "maybe, but he is markedly better than Bush." She agrees there. Though she thinks that Bush will still win. I said, "don't say that. There are a lot of pissed off people out there. Especially in regards to his exploitation of 9/11. More things keep mounting against Bush." She also thinks the country will go into a depression if Bush wins. I talked about how pissed off I am that when I went to college under President Clinton there were plenty of jobs, now, nothing. She agrees that he has fucked everything up.

As for my mother's predictions, she also said Bush I would win in 1992 and when Clinton won, he would probably loose in 1996. So she tends to get things wrong.

1. Tell Mom to go with her first thought...
and hope that she keeps a perfect record on her presidential predictions.

2. Your mother is a wise person
I see exactly like your mother. Bush has fucked everything up, and it needs to be said.

Power to the people!

4. I'm short and I'm just as conceited as any tall person.

Another stereotype busted!
