Hey Mr. Cheney - Remember the Iran Hostage Crisis
When Ronald Reagan and his gang were secretly contacting the Iranian government? Here's one of many links:

"Over the past two decades, more than a score of witnesses – including senior Iranian officials, top French intelligence officers, Israeli intelligence operatives and even Palestine leader Yasir Arafat – have confirmed the existence of a Republican initiative to interfere with Carter’s efforts to free the hostages before the U.S. presidential election in 1980"

So don't "the American people have a right" to know what was going on?

1. Let's not forget Perle interfering with Clinton's Mideast Peace talks
when he urged Barak not to accept a deal saying that Israel would get a better deal when Bush was in office.

3. Interesting - I found a link:
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2002/09/05/perle/index1.html

"In 2000, when Prime Minister Ehud Barak, PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat and President Clinton were meeting at Camp David, Perle made news when he warned Barak not to let Vice President Al Gore become involved in the peace summit, for fear it would boost Gore's election prospects"

5. I heard there was more to it.
That Perle urged Barak to reject any peace agreement.
