3. Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've become tired of the constant (but by no means uniform) defeatism I've run into in here lately. Folks, we can't win if we start thinking we are doomed! And we can't win if we believe the crap that Rove and his shills in the SCLM feed us. Eyes on the prize, talk to everyone you know, call rethugs on their bullshit and do not give in to despair. WE ARE WINNING, THE TRUTH IN ON OUR SIDE.

4. * has nothing to peddle but fear.
I think Americans are fed up with fear, and it will show on Nov. 2.

5. I agree
I've run into that attitude a lot lately. People are tired of rethug scare and intimidation tactics, as they are of their condescending, bullying style. One tidbit: if they try to rally support for * out of another terrotrist attack in the US, they'll be sorely disappointed. The take I see 99% of the people I talk to having is that * and co. are supposed to protect us from such things. If more people die due to terror in the US, * will have a lot of explaining to do to a very angry nation who will be wondering what all those color codes and Patriot Acts were for.

8. but don't forget . . . BushCo owns the voting machines . . .
it's not who votes that counts . . . it's who counts the votes . . . I share your confidence that Kerry will get more votes than Bush . . . I just think that some of those votes may not be reported as cast . . . all it will take is swinging the totals in one or two key states to change the outcome of the election, and I'm confident that the folks who pulled the coup in 2000 are fully capable of doing that in order to stay in office . . . don't know if I'm a cynic or a realist . . . either way, I'm worried . . .
