I reserved the Obama table for the Madison Farmers Market starting this spring

I'm so confident that Obama will be the nominee that I went ahead and paid the deposit for the Obama table at the Madison Farmers Market, which generally gets about 10-20,000 people on a given Saturday. For those familiar with the Farmers Market, State Street and Hamilton Street corners are going to be worked on throughout the season. My guess is that the King Street side will be the spot.

Here are some photos from last year's table, where about 4,000 people signed up and many more learned about the Obama campaign:

1. What a great idea!

I'm in IL, but in and near very red counties. This would be a wonderful idea to build grass roots support. I wonder if on some sort of national level the Obama campaign could help local organizers set up similar programs?

I'll be sure to stop by. Go almost every weekend as I stock up and can my own veggies and fruits from there. Don't you just long for the start?? It means spring and good foods and the end to cabin fever!
