It was not a standing O for Hillary. The debate was over and all were standing
for both of them. It was clear that that was the last question and it was over. I believe that the cheers were for both of the candidates as both had gotten much cheers throughout the night, the show was ending and all stood to cheer their candidates.

2. This is not about Hillary hate. I just think it was not a standing O, but an

4. I thought it was for her.....sorry.....
I want Obama to win....soooo bad.....but I do believe the audience was touched by what she said...and so stood to clap for her...but it did end right after that too.

6. From inside the room, it wasn't for her alone, but for both of them
I wouldn't ever want to deprive Hillary of a standing O, but according to this report on Open Left, the audience was being encouraged to stand ending the debate.

Narrative stickiness results in strange reporting. Some pundits (I saw it primarily on MSNBC) have pointed to Hillary's "magic moment" in her last debate answer last night and to the standing ovation she received. But I was there. The standing ovation was for both candidates. In fact, a CNN stage manager was waving his arms for the audience to stand, signaling the debate was over. It had nothing to do with what Hillary had said. The audience thought the debate was over.

The whole thing is actually worth reading on "Narrative Stickiness"

8. Thanks, I was watching it and I thought both candidates did well but I
could tell the crowd was standing for the conclusion of the debate and for both candidates.
