Were Bush rally hoots 'n' hollers pre-recorded?

Is there a story here for the Kerry campaign or a reporter?

I watched the rally on C-span, and while the crowd sounded terrifically loud, the many cutaway shots revealed faces as tight-lipped as a Grant Wood portrait.

Maybe the enthusiastic folks were way in the back, or maybe a special chorus was somewhere near a mike? We know the Bush crew likes to stage events with actors and others willing to phony it up, so I don't feel too paranoid about this. the sound was particularly good, for a while I even thought a live band was there playing the Sousa marches.

Watch the repeat on C-span, I'm going to catch it again if I can as this weirdish thought occurred to me halfway through the event, and can't recall earlier cut-away shots.

It's not that big a deal, but it does point-up a record of lies on the part of Bush, and folks have a tendency to remember these events more clearly than remembering the details of failed foreign policy.

I just watched it again and while I saw a lot of the crowd mooin'on plugs of chaw, I didn't SEE all the full-throated cheering that I was HEARING.

I would bet that they have bussed in people (basically plants)and have them stationed in the crowd.

He had taken his family on a long planned trip to DC and as they went to various monuments, the parents explained different things that had happened to those that the monuments were built for. Eventually the wound up early afternoon at the Jefferson Memorial, and as the father was talking about Jefferson, 2 black SUV's drove up and the SS guys got out of the vehicles. Some DC workers showed up about 30 seconds behind them and they started to set up a velvet rope barrier. The SS told all of the people at the monument they had to leave the area that was being roped off.

AHA, thought the man, something is going to happen, and the kids will get to see something 'important'. Then 2 busses showed up, and people of various garb disembarked and took up positions within views of the cameras. About 20 min's later, the presidential motorcade showed up to a screaming 'fans', and bush got out, gave a 3 minute speech, then left.

Within 10 minutes, the bussed in crowd was gone as was the rope barrier and the cameras. The man was disgusted, and told a reporter that he was insulted that he could not get near the president, or have his children get near enough to see bush. He told the reporter that he would never vote GOP again.

Moral of the story...politics and showbiz are the same animal.

The few times bush has ever gone off script, his performance was so bad that you wonder how such an idiot could possibly be president.
