MY GOD! KERRY IS SKIING! HE'S GOT TO RESPOND!!!
MY GOD! MY GOD! THE POLLS SHOW THEM TIED!

just kidding.

this kind of talk is like shitting your pants because the market went down today, when you're not going to retire for 30 years.

Let the other side panic. They have plenty to panic about.

Kerry goes back to work this week. He'll have a happy Monday after 60 Minutes tonight.

1. I heard Joe Lieberman criticized the Richard Clarke allegations
Is this true?

Joe said there was no proof that Bush had pushed for war.

3. Yeah, that's true
There are a couple of other threads dedicated to it.

What an ass-clown, that Lieberman. Stick a fork in him: he's done.

4. You heard right
How disgusting is that? For pity's sake, how can he contradict someone who was there? Does he think he knows more than someone who was in on the meetings? Lieberman's delusional.

21. There's a shocker
Lieberman going to bat for *. Yeah, there's no proof, except an eye witness account by 2 respected cabinet officials, dipshit. And he wonders why he lost the nomination.

23. Lieberman and McCain are just going back and forth
I bet they have a competition to see who can get their own party more pissed off.

Perhaps they even trade them off as favors to each other. "McCain, if you say Kerry is strong on defense, I will refute Clark."

5. Skiing is Fine
Edited on Sun Mar-21-04 03:12 PM by Stevendsmith
He deserves a vacation. The past months must have been grueling for him. I can't imagine how exhausting campaiging must be.

But if he doesn't begin shouting from the rooftops the lies and failures of BushCo that have been buried by the right-wing media for the past 3+ years, I'm gonna blow a gasket.

Kerry needs to put a voice to the righteous anger of the progressive people of this nation.

I have yet to see this.

That said, I am 100 percent behind Kerry.

7. I agree, the man needs some relaxation time for the fight ahead
but I do think his fellow Democrats should be keeping the flame going. We cannot afford these lapses where it's just chronic attacks from Bush Inc with no response from Dems.

8. Amen!
the hysteria here is amazing. If the man stops to take a leak, somebody will post a thread saying he needs to stop pissing and start fighting back.

But the fate of this country pretty much lies with Kerry. Dude, better be up to the challenge.

The stakes couldn't be higher, my friend.

How about we check back with each other in two weeks.

I will gladly admit that my doubts were unfounded.

I'm focused like a laser on the Kerry campaign because it is the vehicle for the most important challenge this country has faced in decades:

The removal of the most criminal adminstration in history.

15. The dude *IS* up the challenge
much more so than any other candidate who ran.

He is an extremely experienced politician, so excuse me if I don't cry that the sky is falling because he doesn't follow your day-to-day advice.

17. There's another phenomenae you're forgetting
People are spontaniously setting up political groups with one mission in mind-to get Shrub out of office. I'm in one of those groups. Kerry is rarely mentioned; Bush is condemned repeatedly. In the rally yesterday, the word was to get Bush out. And the only way to do it is to vote Kerry. They know that and they will vote for him. Interesting sidelight-for the first time in my protesting history here in AR, local politicos came to the event. They were fishing for votes for themselves. They realize that a mighty backlash against Bush is brewing, and they want to ride the wave to victory.

10. Right. He should be sweating nails with anxiety and wearing a hair shirt
to prove how dedicated he is to the campaign. I don't think he should be allowed to sleep more than three nights a week either. Think of all the productive strategizing time he's giving up by sleeping, that lazy s.o.b.

13. It's going to be a long eight months.
There is probably no good time for Kerry to take some time off, but I am sure the time off will rejuvinate him. The Kerry campaign has got to pick it's shots...if they go off on everything all the time they will be playing into Rove's hands. It's going to get alot worse before it gets better.

One thing my father used to tell us kids: "Stick to the main tent and avoid the sideshows." Good advice.

18. I agree...let him have his break
There are 8 more month. He'll read the Clarke book and have his people do some research. The better prepared he is, the better his arguments.

Besides that, there are lots of democrats who'll have a field day with that (not GOP Lieberman of course). I bet especially Dean will not hold back.

The Repug Tom Cole said something like "a vote against Bush is a vote for Osama"

After finding out that Bush let get OBL away so many times to focus on Iraq, more people will agree that a vote for Bush is a vote for Osama.

22. Saw the pix
He looked more presidential on a snowboard than ever before. At least I thought so.

And he looked like he was having fun. Good for him.

Now if we could just get him a girlfriend he could cheat on his wife with, he'd be perfect.

Khash.

(That last bit was joke!)
