Let Us Thank Nader for His Half Century of Service...and Then Let's Move On!
No one can deny the influence of Nader's 45+ years of service in the areas of Public Safety and Consumer Rights. It's his legacy and no one can take that away from him. Each and every one of us should be grateful.

And while he may be sincere in his hopes for an Executive Position as POTUS...
well, uh, er, "bless his heart" but it's not gonna happen.

The 2008 Democratic Primary IS the 2008 General Election.

So let's get back to that.

Thank you Citizen Nader!

And we wish you All The Best in the future!

1. Yeah! (Except for the part about the legacy--he helped Bush)

2. I'm always amazed at the ignorance of some on what Nader has done
Many here on DU only think he ran for president and nothing else. I blame history teachers - and I say that because he actually has his own segment in "Don't Know Much About History" which is where I learned about Nader the advocate.

3. How 'bout we throw rotten tomatoes at him instead?
His advocacy for public safety and Consumer Rights has been completely overshadowed by his personal crusade for the spotlight - so much so that he was willing to support Bush over Gore - while telling us there was no difference in the two.

4. All the good he's ever done was erased in 2000. Thanks Ralph. Asshole!
