8. Hillary Still Speaks For About 45% Of Democrats
Does that mean they are all racists?

And do you think Obama can win in the fall without almost half the Democratic base that you derided as racist?

Are you a Maggie Williams Democrat or a John F. Kennedy Democrat?

I'm betting on Kennedy.

Hillary is going down as a racist.

25. Indeed Hillary speaks for more Democrats than Obama who lives off of GOP pretend support
a bit pathetic are the Obama folks to deny Obama's smear/play the race card/lie campaign

or that those "left" ideas are per Obama "on the table" to trade for GOP love and changing the atmosphere in DC.

The best part of Obama's campaign was Obama stopping discussion of his lack of political ability to get left type victories of any size - just by playing the race card and getting 24/7 discussion of the "race card" - all by using his folks to say they saw racial undertones in comments by Clinton supporters - while he let it boil for a few weeks until he finally said the Clintons were not racists (not noting anything they had accomplished for blacks - like better jobs/income) but then claiming Hillary should be faulted for lack of control of all who support her - only 4 weeks later when he unleashed a few slurs/smears via supporters he claimed it was silly to assume anyone could control their supporters.

The walk on water sale via a GOP organizations/corporate media that has had its emails explaining its support of Obama as an attempt to get the weaker candidate printed on DU many times seems to work well with the men that are afraid of a women in authority.

78. Most people and therefore, yes, Dems, are racist to some degree or another
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 03:58 PM by Leopolds Ghost
This is especially true in America where you have a special urban-rural underclass
descended from ex-slaves and restricted to descendants of ex-slaves.

Nobody who is not an ex-slave gets relegated to that underclass; instead,
they are eventually granted white-skin privilege. Nobody questions it.

It depends on what the meaning of racism is.

If you think it's racist to use racism as a campaign ploy, then Hillary Clinton is racist. If you don't, she's a shrewd politician.

85. you cannot defend yourself against charges of racism
leveled by someone of the offended race. what can you say? "I am not racist!" it doesn't work. This is the single most brilliant campaign move of the past 20 years, perhaps longer, by the Obama campaign. (and if you don't think it was intentional, you are a fool and seriously underestimating the Obama campaign) there is nothing good white liberals hate more than a racist, and no one has been better suited to play the card than the nice, inoffensive Obama campaign.

look at the trend lines. once the card was played, once the Obama campaign and surrogates started to complain that the Clintons were racist, the tide turned and Hillary has been scrambling ever since. make everything racial, and blame your opponent for doing it. brilliant. shame it won't work on McCain.

I have to hand it to Obama, when the histories are written, this will be the textbook insurgent campaign.

30. It is not stupid!
Voting for her despite you KNOWING what she is all about is wrong and will encourage more clinton like politics in the future.

A write in shows support to the candidates steamrolled in this run and shows Clinton and the democrats that this bullshit will not stand.

If McCain wins because of that (Highly unlikely because with Clinton there will be no close race as either Clinton will make a big mistake and lose or she will steamroll McCain and continue the Bush Clinton Bush Clinton downfall of the United States.) Then blame it on Clinton and her supporters who in this final act of desperation turned off ALOT of people (Likely moving them to you know who)

70. I'll only vote for Nader if Obama is the nominee.
BO has brought us Democrats together so well that I'll never vote for him for anything so long as he lives. His campaign called two of the best public servants American ever had "racists" and then jumped in the mud with the Clinton-hating press to relive the trumped of scadals of the 1990s.

That is unforgiveably divisive and dirty campaigning and I have had it.

I've voted since 1968, always for the Dem nominee, but it the nominee is Obama, I'm staying home or voting for Nader.

73. Bogus. There is zero chance she will be our nominee. She's finished as a factor in the party.
Faulty premise. Hillary can't even hold the delegates she's already won, now. She's going down big time.

77. Hell NO.
If he wasn't in the race I might not vote for anyone. But now that he's entered I'm voting for any Dem just to spite that bastard.

I won't vote for Hillary. I'll stay home or vote otherwise.
I support the Democratic candidate for all local offices without hesitation.

82. Not no, but HELL NO!
I'm pissed at all the bickering and negative campaigning, but there is no way I'll vote for anyone other than the Democrat in the GE.

86. I won't vote for Hillary
I will, however, vote AGAINST McCain. I like Obama better than Hillary, and Hillary better than McCain. I think I detest Nader even more than McCain, so my vote will go to Hillary, if she is the dem nominee.
