Obama Supporters, What Will You Do If Hillary Is The Nominee?
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 05:36 PM by Dinger
Purely hypothetical question. Will you vote for her/ Work as hard for her as this Hillary supporter will if Obama is the nominee?

23. What else? Vote for her, work to make sure she wins and then bust my ass to keep her honest
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 05:40 PM by jgraz
Just like I did with her husband.

Edit: The problem is that the only way I can see her winning is if she destroys the Democratic party. It's kind of a Catch-22 at this point.

30. For the millionth time: I'll happily vote for her.
What too many DU knuckledraggers fail to realize is that supporting one candidate over another does NOT mean that one seeks to demonize the opponent. I like Hillary, and I think that she'd be a good president. There's no dissonance in supporting someone else in the primary, however.

People who say that they'd rather stay home or vote for (ugh) McCain deserve a mallet to the head. Fuck 'em.

This election's too important.

I don't believe Hillary to be as strong a candidate against McCain, but WILL vote for her in the general should she be the nominee. But, given her penchant for secrecy, we are gonna have to bust our asses to keep her from becoming the Democratic GWB.

58. I'll definitely vote for her
and because of my job, I will inevitably spend a lot of time working for her indirectly.

In terms of how much of my own time I'll dedicate, probably some, probably not with the same degree of fervor as I would for Obama. In 2004, I volunteered for Kerry, but I wasn't involved to the extent I had been with Dean's campaign during the primaries. I guess the amount of time I spend volunteering will depend on what happens for the rest of the primary season, as well as how competitive the Virginia senate race and other down-ballot races end up being. But I want to win the White House and I want to do whatever I can to help regardless of who the nominee is.

73. Well in that case...
If she keeps her current scorched earth strategy up and somehow manages to bamboozle enough voters so that she winds up the nominee it would all depend on how well she's doing against McLame. If its really close i'll throw her a bone and vote for her (unfortunately it'll be one of those lesser of two evils vote), if not i'll just write Edwards in!
