3. Heh, only Hillary's and Edwards' plans are similar. They're basically the same.

You have to dive into the details to tell them apart. Both Edwards' and Hillary's plan feature a universal mandate for health care, and they both offer the opportunity to buy into a public health insurance entity, not a private one. For that last reason, it opens the door to later transition to single-payer health care.

People would soon discover that the non-profit public health insurance entity would offer more coverage at lower rates for the simple fact that it wouldn't tack on profit mark-ups and deny care in a bid to maximize dividends for shareholders.
