Mark Penn complains angrily
Edited on Wed Feb-27-08 01:07 PM by chyjo
That Democratic primary voters are heavily biased towards Barack Obama and far more likely to vote for him and contribute to his campaign.

*sarcasm off*

6. Just another in a long line of clueless political consultants
who read polls and study trends but have no grasp of real people, the real world, popular culture, you name it. They have no idea how things actually play to the public. The same kind of jerkoffs that told John Kerry to go duck hunting. "Hey hunters vote! Dress up like a hunter!" "Hey the kids all love that Saturday Nights Live Program- make sure to throw that into the mix! Unfortunately the candidate is often equally clueless and thus fails to say, uh no thanks, I don't think looking like a tool is really going to help the campaign.

9. And they never go away!
Even if they are proven again and again to be losers who give losing advice to losing candidates. Bob Shrum has proven himself to be a tone deaf moron again and again and again. Yet every campaign cycle there he is.

4. What a totally dumb thing to say.
If Hillary was ahead we'd be biased toward her. If this is all you have to do to make a few million bucks, sign me up.

14. It takes millions to convince us Hillary was not ahead.
By the time she is reinvented it will be too late.

7. How come nothing is ever their faults?
Hillary offers excuses for everything--and so does Bill. Now Penn--it's all the fault of someone else. It's either the horrible slanted media, or us stupid clods who don't know what's best for us. I don't want a victim mentality in the White House.

Since when do excuses and blaming others change anyone's mind?

11. Penn has proven himself to be an imcompetent ass.
I think Hillary's biggest mistake was hiring that man to run her campaign.

15. What Nobody Seems To Grasp Is That Those Like Penn
Don't really think voters should decide elections. We've heard it from the right from noodle heads like David Brooks. Rove, when confronted by a student at a speech he was giving declared, "I don't work for you, I work for the American people." It was the very reason the super delegates thing became a great debacle and why the elites think they can steal elections with impunity.

17. Didn't Al Gore blame his 2000 loss on the consultants?
He listened to them too much and got away from being himself. So was it the consultants or Ralph Nader or Election Fraud or SCOTUS that put these shitheads in the WhiteHouse in 2000?

18. When The Margin Of Votes Between The Candidates Is Big/Bigger,Huge
it is much more difficult to steal an election. That's where Nader and bad advice came into play. That there was election shenanigans, I do not doubt. The one thing never questioned during that debacle is how is it the Cons were so ready and organized to put black boots on the ground and organize those mobs of so called citizens. But SCOTUS is ultimately responsible for shutting down the vote recount that would have (reports say) decided the race in Gore's favor. I think Sandra Day O'Connor has been quoted as saying she just couldn't see Gore as president. This we had, effectively, a coup d'etat.
