Begala does crack me up sometimes.

I sometimes thought he was too 'nice' back when he was on CrossFire.
(Remember that?)

Speaking of the Clinton-Obama debates he just said "Hey, they're pretty much discussing issues and records. Nobody's callin' anybody's mama ugly or anything."

1. Back during the 2004 primaries he was in Iowa and my husband appeared

on a CrossFire segment on behalf of Dean. (It was cool b/c my husband knew all the team members so we got to sit on the WARM bus while the Kerry supporter had to wait in the cold...it's okay he was young and could tough it out). Anyway...

Begala and I start talking about why our family decided on Dean and I go into the story of our son's disability and what Dean did for folks with disabilities as Governor in Vermont. We talked about taxes and how the programs affected all tax-paying citizens of Vermont. And Begala says, "Hey, it's just money, right?" and I replied, "Right." To this day I don't know if he was joking or not x(.
