I just read Kerry's statement regarding Bush's comedy act at the Radio and Television Correspondents dinner the other night and would like to make a suggestion for expanding it, maybe even into an ad, though I know the money is tight.
Bush has gotten quite a bit of mileage from his "Trifecta" joke (see this article http://www.democraticunderground.com/articles/04/03/13_trifecta.html ) on the rubber chicken circuit, apparently it's always good for a laugh when trying to pry money out of the morally challenged. And now, he's having a yok at the expense of the dead, wounded, and their families, American and Iraqi, who have lost so much as the result of this misbegoten war that was started over these missing WMD's that he joked about. How disrespectful, although it's totally in character for this morally retarded ass.
Which is my point. Is there any footage available of one of his "Trifecta" performances? Combined with his little standup routine the other night it might make a powerful and damning statement regarding his character.

I think that moveon.org and others should destroy bush with his ridiculous jokes.

he was on a pibber in the Delta...seriously, this needs to be approached as though it were combat. I think an ad that just lets Bush speak, with only minimal comment, preferably in text, would be enough. Just let it speak for itself.

include some sound footage of the media at the event last nite (?) laughing at the "jokes" he's telling, interspersed with fotos, footage of the wounded, maimed, dead.....hell, you wouldn't need text.

just fading in, and out of the victims and the moral retard's voiceover ought to do the damage.

Do you think their loved ones are laughing?"

Might also want to give wounded numbers also.

And talk about how he's joking about the loss of almost 600 young American lives in Iraq.

That made me almost as angry as his "bring it on" line.
