How low will a Repuke go!
Last week my John Kerry sign was stolen outside my house. Tonight a guy stopped by and told me that the parents of some kids he goes to high school with told their kids to come steal my sign. This just shows how low republicans are, they send their kids to steal from someone else's property. They must be great parents.

1. Ask the guy who the parents were.
File a complaint with the police.

Or, if he won't tell you, get an IR videocamera and videotape the kids doing it again. Then press chages, and see how funny the parents think it is.

I, for one, will be putting any signs on our house, such that it would require a freeper to climb on our house to get it. I will also boobytrap the most likely route up so he falls and breaks his neck.

2. My wife has been doing
something similar with "support our troops" signs ever since I mentioned that it is really saying support the chimps bloodbath. I guess it's wrong. But it feels so good.

5. I don't think "support our troops" signs are wrong...
Edited on Sat Mar-27-04 07:28 PM by Hippo_Tron
Personally I'm going to get one that says "Support our troops... by not re-electing our president."

8. I dont have a problem with those signs...

Unless they say somthing about Bush or Republicans...

But tearing down other peoples signs that are on their property is wrong.

Now if it's just some Republican sign on public land that was put there w/o permission, then who cares...

10. This is pretty low
When I was in grad school, the district judge used to hire out-of-work people to take down Democratic Party signs. I swear, this town was like living in a Tennessee Williams novel...

12. Last year our anti-war signs
were stolen or vandalized several times. We just replaced them.

On two occasions someone put hope home made signs that said things like, "Eat a croissant, Frenchie" and "Hug a tree, hippie" and another one that simply said "Hippy" with an arrow pointing toward the house.

We actually thought they were hilarious, and both times left them up for a couple of days. Our thinking was that this was a dialog taking place in the neighborhood.

For a brief time we had a Dean sign in the front yard that was vandalized. I replaced it, then took it down a week or two before the Iowa caucus.

Two years ago we had Dennis Moore (our Democratic U.S. Representative) signs stolen, but again simply replaced them.
