Obama gains yet another delegate
The Alabama State Democratic Executive Committee has selected their "add-on" superdelegate. They have chosen Alabama AFL-CIO President Stewart Burkhalter, an Obama supporter.

1. I think that's fair.
Alabama's districts must be ridiculously gerrymandered. He won the state by 13-15%, if I recall and yet barely came out ahead in the delegate count. He deserved that extra delegate, IMO.

2. He got screwed over by 4 delegate districts
He won them, but not by the massive number needed for the delegates to not be tied. So yes, this is definitely a deserved plus for him.

3. This will make my friend's 85 year old
mom happy in Alabama who voted for Obama even though my friend said.." and she's a racist". It's incredible the support he's getting across the spectrum.
