Poll question: Would Faux Snooze attack Kerry if he joked about not finding WMDs

I just watched Faux Snooze Sunday with Chris Wallace (know your enemy) and the panel including Brit Hume, William"Mr. PNAC" Krystal and even Juan Williams concluded that Bush's WMD joke was much ado about nothing.

If Kerry had joked about WMDs in such a way, would it be a big issue that the Bush camp would exploit?

2. Ann the MAN
would use as much fake indignation as heshe could passably muster. You know they're so smart They drag out negative info against themselves longer than they should. Instead of just letting it die they drag out 5 or 10 different lame excuses that make them look defensive and contradict each other.

4. you're talking about if he was in the position of Bush as President?
and invaded Iraq on the same WMD faulty intelligence? In that case I'd probably agree, though conservatives feed on war so they'd probably be easier on hawkish reasoning even if later proved untrue. There have been WMD jokes and our inability to find them during the Democratic primary, from Sharpton for example (though I can't cite one specifically).

7. Not just criticize him
There would be calls for an "investigation" into the slide show--who wrote the joke, when did Kerry approve it, etc. The Repugs would demand an official "reprimand" from Congress, at a minimum.

Since * said it, however, it was just a joke.
