Ring, Ring...Hillary don't pick up that phone
Experience? Experience?

Ready on day one? I don't think so!

1) Just asking ~ isn't it a little unwise to be best buddies with GHWB and visit his summer home and be his pal? Do you think his bedrooms and phones are not tapped? Guess again!

A clue to that error is that GHWB slapped the hell out of Bill when he bragged that when Hillary made President, they would go "all around the world on a good will tour."

NOT! That little tour idea was stuck on stupid!

For someone that is "ready on day one" I beg of you, please don't pick up that phone when it rings. Let one of the sleeping children answer but not you and not Bill!

Even an eight year old would realize that, " Blood is thicker than water."

2)Just asking ~ isn't it unwise to have James Carville advising you when you know that his slime ball wife is working for the enemy? How can you trust this man when he made that historical call to his "Enemy in the WH wife" when GW stole the last election?

Recall - Carville gave his wife the "all is well" thumbs up.

3) If you are ready on day one to pick up that phone, in the middle of the night, why didn't you know how to plan ahead and not have to loan $5 million dollars to your own campaign?

Please, please, please don't pick up that phone and give anyone ideas about how to get us out of this recession that your Bush Buddies caused.

If you can't run a little bitty campaign against a person with "no experience" how will you answer that phone in the middle of the night?

3. If you don't think personally knowing
and being friends with 90% of the world leaders gives her an advantage to picking up that phone then I won't be able to explain it to you. Continue bashing her. You push people away from Obama by doing so.

5. The Bush family knew all the leaders as well
and look where that got us.

I'm not pushing anyone away from Obama. That is already being well taken care of at DU.

Thanks for the reminder however.

7. Can you name the current leaders that Hillary "Personally" knows?
And I don't think she should answer that phone either.....if for no other reason that her "experience" has not resulted in "sound judgment" in any case. That is the test, isn't it? Not that you know how to answer the phone, but you know what to do as your response. Between failed health care proposals, wrong votes on Iraq and Iran, and trusting Bush, what is left exactly that she's done right on any crisis.

It's not about pushing people away from Obama, it is about telling it like it is, and not how the Hillary campaign would like things to be. The phone was her great idea; not Barack's.

oh.....and the telephone call was McCain's idea before it was Hillary's....which is that much more unimpressive.

10. Bingo! GW and Cheney know them all
and look where it has gotten us.

I recall those photos of Queen Elizabeth and the Chimp/

When it comes right down to it, it's not about "knowing" it is about judgment.

13. 90 percent of the world leaders?
Putin? Sure--good buddies. And of course all those leaders she became friendly with while Bill was in office are still serving. There's no flux in the leadership of nations. Or could I be wrong about that?

6. Foreign Policy response March 1 08 CNN
Edited on Sun Mar-02-08 04:34 PM by bigbrother05
On CNN today:
Q: Senator, can you talk about one specific time when you've had to make that kind of 3 A.M., split-second decision based on foreign policy?

Clinton: Well, I was involved in a lot of the decisions that were made. But again, you're looking at it from the wrong perspective. I'm presenting – you know, no one who hasn't been president has ever done that. So, that's not the right question. The question is, what have you done over the course of a lifetime to equip you for that moment. Now, I think you'll be able to imagine many things Senator McCain will be able to say. He's never been the president, but he will put forth his lifetime of experience. I will put forth my lifetime of experience. Senator Obama will put forth the speech he made in 2002. And that's why national security is a critical issue for Democrats as we go into this primary; because everyone knows that John McCain will make this election about national security, that is a given. And it will be imperative that we have a nominee who is able to stand on that stage with Senator McCain, and I believe I am the person best able to do that.

It was a non response response, she has nothing

9. She supported the invasion of a country that was no threat to us

The results of which were as predictable as they were disasterous.

On the most important decision a politician could make, whether or not to go to war, she fucked up. And she fucked up because she either couldn't see past the propaganda of the warmongers, or because of political expediency, neither of which is a good excuse. I don't trust her.
