who does Bill Clinton think is best vp choice ?
i would love to know who bill clinton thinks would be the best vp choice for john kerry .i'm not sure if bill clinton will give kerry any one specific name to be the best choice, but i think he will tell kerry how he sees things playing out with various choices , the negatives and positives and then leave it to kerry to do what he wants. and kerry takes clinton's advice very seriously. it's one of the reasons he did so well in iowa and other places.

1. Too much baggage.
I wouldn't mind Bill as VP, despite some disappointments with him, but it's too much. We need a VP candidate who will NOT rile-up the GOP base, since it looks like this is going to be a turn-out-your-base kind of election.

3. That would be a certain Mr. Clark. Or now, maybe Mr. Clarke.

5. D'oh!
So sorry. That teaches me to read more closely.

Hmm.. if I had to guess, I'd guess Wes Clark. After all, Clinton did call him a "rising star" or somesuch label..

Although I can see him very pleased with John Edwards on the ticket also..

6. Wes Clark!
Edited on Mon Mar-29-04 12:09 AM by 2004 Victory
I don't think there's any doubt that Bill Clinton prefers Wes Clark. He's General Clark's number one fan.

Vice President - Wes Clark
Attorney General - John Edwards
Secretary of Labor - Dick Gebhardt

If Wes Clark isn't Vice President, then he's Secretary of State.

12. That's a good idea.
The DNC chairman has to be a hatchet-man and a fundraiser. Dean is both.

13. IF asked...
I'm sure he'll speak his mind. I have heard that WJC likes Wes Clark, but that HRC prefers John Edwards. :)
