CNN Pushing Hillary big time.......SNL yesterday.......and WAPO with Hit piece on Obama today!
Watch CNN for what I mean.

Thus far, they have shown Hillary 4 times talking at her rallies, Chelsea talking once, and Bill Clinton's rally was covered. Barack Obama has gotten about 2 minutes if that today in rally coverage.

You'd think that he had lost 11 races in a row, and had not just closed a double digit gap in 2 large states.

We'll see if he whines on this.

1. Amazing how a candidate who has lost 11 straight contests can net so much coverage.

short of crying.

Just imagine if Obama would have came in third in Iowa. Where would he be in all of this?

19. The media's starting to cover actual policy proposals. You may have
noticed that Obama has been repeating his old lines which lacked any substance from the very beginning.

The media may just as well play Obama's file footage from three weeks ago.

13. It's OK. Obama will handle it, and this too shall pass.
Obama already understands that he has to be twice as good to get recognition. He did that, at the chagrin of the press, who felt that they had to get ahead of that story so as not to be judged irrelevant....although they actually are.

7. I even heard Candy Crowley before
refer to the Clinton campaign with a "we" as if she were a part of it-I usually watch MSNBC for my political fix but Sunday CNN is all there is and it has been shocking to say the least. One would think watching CNN that Barack Obama is the one who has lost 11 contests in a row not Clinton

I think the Clinton camp has been calling in the favors the media owes them, and when that doesnt work bullying them behind the scenes to give her one last shot.

I couldnt stand it, turned off the TV this morning and wont turn it back on until Tuesday.

11. the media wants this race to continue because they like infighting
in the party because it's something for their pundits to talk about. They want it to go to the convention. Even if Hillary loses one of the big two they will say she has come back and will be back to shilling for her. In the end the corporate media wants the candidate they have spent four years building up and that would be HRC because they have years of research to use against her if she's the nominee.

14. CNN WORSHIPS HILLARY CLINTON!
They're a wholly owned subsidiary of the Clinton machine.

The joke among the political activist crowd goes, "In January, 2009, when Obama is being sworn into office, CNN will run a segment titled, 'What Can Hillary Do to Win.'"

46. I'll confess that their argument is a testament of how far we've come, I guess.
Who'da thunk someone would be trying to convince America that the press hates the woman contender for the Democratic nomination for President of the US more than it hates the Black man, who is currently the slight favorite for nomination for President of the US.

It's a good problem to have, but I grow tired of the whining.

17. CNN has never recognized that Hillary is out

There are hopes there that the race will go on as long as possible- it's
good news and this fight is better than the one McCain will have (more
exciting). The more bizarre, the better. Pretty soon that's all Larry King
will cover.

Posted by KoKo01 on Sun Mar-02-08 05:04 PM

She was speaking in Ohio...about how we were the leader in so many innovative products that we allowed to outsourced to other countries. (Yeah...I know...NAFTA) but she went on that we needed to have protections that would allow us to keep our innovations here at home and to create the NEW Environmental Solutions that we could sell to the rest of the world through our innovation. She said that NAFTA must be revised for protection of workers and environment and that we could once again be the world leader in the development of products that will make us a world leader in innovation and export again.

On her Health Care for All proposal she used the example of a young woman who was Pregnant who had problems early on and who went to the hospital and was turned away...because she didn't have insurance. (she mentioned that hospitals can't afford to treat everyone...which is a Repug point) and so the young woman went home where later on she developed problems and came back into the hospital where the baby was born and died and the mother had to be airlifted to another hospital to save her life...and she then died. Hillary said that if the young woman had been seen early on in her pregnancy she and her baby both could have lived and thousands of dollars could have been saved along with saving those lives. (Hillary drew me in with this tragic story...which as she said, is repeated all over America...but I did feel she emphasised more the cost of what was done to save the mother and baby..rather than hitting home the heartlessness of a policy where a hospital turns away a young woman who is having problems in early pregnancy...and I think this is why folks can feel she is cold and calculating.)

Anyway...I feel when I listen to her speeches at rallies that she tries to move to the left and to understand the mistakes she and Bill made...but her delivery never can get to the level of "feeling your pain" that Bill managed to do.

I want to hope that Bill and Hillary have seen their mistakes in cozying up to Wall St. and the RW Repugs for eight years and allowing all those Whitewater/Starr investigations to occur when, like Chimpy, they could have SHUT THEM ALL DOWN and not gone through that PERSONAL PAIN," and I wonder all the time why they were always so far behind in seeing the Media Cabal and RW Politics that dogged them from Inauguration Day.

But, when she gives speeches she does lay out plans to "fix" what they did wrong. She doesn't touch the Media Deregulation that Bill did...or talk about Bush Crime Family and how she will make sure they "bring back the Bill of Rights" to Americans...but neither does OBAMA. Both tiptoe around about fixing things...but it's the same old "chicken in every pot...health care for all...American Innovation" and since I've heard all that before...both candidates leave me cold....

Anyway...Hillary does seem to go farther than Obama with Policy issues and prescriptions to fix them...but it might be as hollow as Obama's campaign of "HOPE" for "Change" which I also heard from Clinton, Carter and JFK. Our Dems always do that "HOPE FOR CHANGE" thingy.

When she is on the stump and she's getting really passionate and loud - Hillary sounds horrible. Really, really bad to the ear.

I know she's worked with people on it but it's a big problem for her. Usually they cut to Obama directly after and the difference is noticeable.

There's like a billion Obama threads screaming up and down about not fair this and not fair that, or drop out now and stop running now. I've never seen such complaining from people who are supporting someone.

For the love of god...let the primary be a primary and stop complaining about every little thing. Obama has had his SNL moment and he's on the news all the time. If roles were reversed Obama would still be in the race and he would still be getting coverage.
