This primary should go all the way to the bitter end.

I mean, at first, I wanted it all to end, one way or another. There is just so much infighting and hostility, and that can't be good for the party.

But now, I want it to go until someone has the magic number. All the way to the end, if need be. Obviously, this is a very huge primary for us. There is a lot riding on this, and a lot at stake on various levels. I've never seen a primary like this before. This race is so close, and I think that alone means we should ALL get a chance to vote. Every state. My primary isn't until May 20th, so I never thought I'd even get to have a say in it. I never have before.

As far as all the bickering goes - frankly, I think the damage is done there already. Those who have become so pissed off that they've already made their November decision probably won't change their mind. We're already split and angry... so it shouldn't all be in vain now. We should really let democracy win here, and then deal with the results the best we know how.

1. it should go on until somebody has enough delegates. that's REAL democracy.
personally I don't care for either of them, but DU obamanistas should not get their way until their candidate has enough delegates to clinch.

7. HRC goal is to sabotage the primary and general elections
Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 10:54 PM by rainbow4321
She won't be making it to the GE and knows when Obama wins in November she gets to sit out of the game in 4 years (b/c the incumbent will be a Dem) and she won't be able to have another go at it til 2016(i.e he wins a second term). If the repukes win in November, she can drag us thru this shit all over again in 2012.

That's why she will drag this out til the convention, making Obama have to focus on her til the convention instead of starting to fight against McCain starting THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING!!

As bitter as she is, she will somehow still try to screw things up for him after the convention, just so he will lose in November.

8. It should go till the end.
Richardson has joined the Hillary haters chorus by calling for the winner to be whom ever has the most delgates after tomorrow night. :wtf:
Obama will be ahead, but by a smaller margin. But there is still time for HRC to win this thing. This race is not over.

9. No. If HRC takes this thing, I will need several months to recover. Because at this point
she's not getting my vote. If I have several months to "get over it." I'm sure I'll fall in line and vote for the nominee should it be her. However, if she drags this out then manages to steal the whole thing at the very last minute... I'll probably be too upset and disgusted to vote.
