1. how did she do?
I don't watch much TV - the only person I've caught on a TV show related to the campaign inner-circle is Michelle Obama and I thought she did wonderful

2. Kinda blah
Satellite delay made the whole thing a little awkward. Jon Stewart made it funny enough though.

21. Kinda blah if you're a little maturity and hope-impaired. It was VERY funny.
Great reaction from the audience! Very good, great comedy. Hillary was strong.

3. After the initial bash the candidates , before she came on, it looked like a lovefest to me
I would say the intent was to definitely give her a boost.
She was good, funny, and looked tired, but she'd just finished her townhall in TX.

22. That's a fact. Both of them start way earlier, work way harder and finish way later
than most of us (even the kids) could put up with!

7. Agreed. It was free national, cable airtime for Clinton the night before a hugely critical primary.
And the early "bashing" was skewed towards Clinton, what with TDS playing her entire "3am" video. I think the most telling thing is that TDS didn't contrast Hillary's "3am" fear ad with Bill Clinton's 2004 "fear vs hope" statement (as did Olbermann). It would normally be a sleepwalked TDS bit, but was strangely missing. Instead, they doubled-down on the fear ads and showed Mondale's '84 ad against Hart, rather than countering the fear.

I'd say it was a 30-minute advertisement for Hillary's campaign, so she did damn well.

9. Olbermann is completely biased
I don't even think he tries to hide it. One of his 5 stories is always something negative about Clinton (whether it's attacking Clinton or defending Obama from Clinton's attacks). Nothing the other way around that I have seen in the last month.

11. Olbermann was about the only truly negative Clinton coverage I saw today
everything else seemed pretty balanced or heavily favoring Clinton.
I bounced back and forth between MSNBC, CNN and even Fox, just to see how it was going.

Olbermann has been very negative re:Hillary for a while now. I stopped watching for the most part... Balance I can handle, bias? Not so much.

14. Sure. And some would say his coverage today was about the only objective coverage out there.
Contrasting campaign tactics to record; looking behind the campaign smears for the facts -- rather than simply echoing campaign smears and charges.

As for Olbermann/Countdown, I've grown less fond of him for some time now, mostly because he's skewed too biased against Republicans and Bush, to the point of silliness, at times, plus the endless pop culture segments. Countdown/KO is still a welcome oasis, but it asn't been the balanced, objective news coverage I crave.

16. I don't think KO is remotely objective right now.
Though I do agree that the show isn't as it was, I'm hoping that it will regain it's footing after the primaries.

18. I'll have to go back and watch tonight's segment again ...
... but I thought Countdown's presentation unique in not simply echoing the campaign charges. And, doing that, the coverage would quickly skew as "anti-Hillary" since none of the recent smears have any merit.

I have to agree, they went for a soft hit.

19. Redonkulous. GE wants McCain.
As for MSNBC infotainers, Olbermann and Abrams, to a lesser degree, are outliers. Tweety, Russert and Scarborough are totally in the bag for the Republicans/McCain.

27. I thought she did great.
She looked EXHAUSTED, but despite that, she was still very quick-witted. Her first line -- the bit about how pathetic it was that she was on TDS -- was hysterical!

The whole show was fun, a little awkward due to the satellite delay, but she did well nonetheless.

31. Considering even they continue to provide a steady diet of blowjob jokes, I don't blame her.
They're not as bad as Leno, and maybe the BJ jokes are fair game (tho still tired 10 years and one trashed Constitution later), but there's very good reasons why Clinton should stay away from the tube when TDS, SNL, & Colbert are on.

I thought she looked incredibly tired, but overall came across well. I thought she seemed fairly resigned to the bullshit she's had to put up with.
