Good News From Ohio ..... Jennifer Brunner is the Sec. of State.
For all the worries and tin foil hat stuff about Ohio
and elections that get posted on D.U. there is really
good news and that is Jennifer Brunner is the Sec. of State
here.

Ms. Brunner is committed to having fair, open, and honest
elections. She had a study done on electronic voting machines
which exposed their flaws, she has made sure that all counties
that have electronic voting machines now have paper ballots
as an option, she has fired a # of BOE people across the state,
and spent the last few days in Cleveland trying to make sure
that the vote is clean there.

Now counting the paper ballots might take longer
but that is a small price to pay for something we have
all wanted for a long time.

Ms. Brunner gave up a lot to run for Sec. of State in Ohio
because she felt that Blackwell had "dirtied the office."
Jenny is one of the "good ones," and we in Ohio are
lucky to have her.

1. I hope things go well
I know she's been working her butt off to try and fix all of the problems left by Blackwell. I applaud her for the in-depth study she had done on the machines and proud that she is working this through. I am disappointed in the people that try to bash her for fixing the mess left by the previous SOS.

2. I am proud to call her a friend.
Jenny knows Ohio was dirty in 2004 and that she is up
against a huge "slime machine" that will fight her tooth
& nail but she really has what is best for Ohio in her
heart.

Some people don't know a good thing when they see
it.

5. Fair, open and honest are not possible with machines involved...
...but thank goodness Ohio's SoS isn't actually running McCain's campaign.

8. She's great!
The GOP and conservative news media attack her constantly. That's very high praise, she is a threat to them.
