So when do we shut down GD:Primaries?
I know DU closes down debate once we have a nominee. But what's the admins' threshold of determining that? It seems clear that if Hillary Clinton doesn't have a big set of wins tonight, she won't have enough delegates to compete, even if she went to the convention and took all the rest of the supers. Are the admins going to make the call at some point, or are they waiting for only one candidate to be left standing?

2. I would hope they would wait for a concession.
This is America, after all.

3. You apparently didn't get the memo....
There will be a Florida and Michigan Primary re-vote. It should occur by Mid-July. So, of course, she will never drop out. O8)

4. I think you're better off sending the admins an e-mail about this if you want their answer.
That said, while I certainly can't presume to speak for them, I'd imagine they'd wait for someone to concede.

6. here's your answer, per Skinner (link is in a previous post):
"At some point between now and the Democratic convention in August, one of the two remaining Democratic front-runners will drop out of the race, and the remaining candidate will become the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. When we have a presumptive nominee, the time for fighting on DU will come to an end. The squabbling will not drag on until the "official" nomination at the convention in August. The transition to general election mode begins when we have a presumptive nominee. And we have no doubt that the vast majority of our members -- regardless of which candidate you support in the primaries -- will be glad to move forward and support the nominee."

So, when Obama or Clinton "drop out of the race." I assume that means when the candidate says he/she is "dropping out."

8. yup...with a 1 week carryover to allow for...
venting, wailing, gnashing of teeth, sand-pounding, mindless gloating, etc., etc.,...then support swings to the nominee.

7. You know what? I just have to say this.
Maybe I'm having a bad day or whatever, but does it matter? If people don't like what's happening there, don't go there.
