Heinz

Some of my friends have been receiving emails from Repuglicans, telling them that HEINZ has Offshore accounts and hire non-union workers. Anyone hear about this... Anyone do any research?}(

2. Short version

Heinz has plants and distribution centers near their overseas suppliers and customers. (Think about it, that stuff is food! (really!))

Anyway, the Heinz family is pretty much out of the business. That includes Kerry's wife, who is a Heinz by marriage.

Ironic! The reports say that the Heinz Trusts, i.e. Theresa, own only about 4% of the stock in Heinz Foods.

I am assuming they somehow think they have something on John Kerry because of his wife's connection to the Heinz family. Theresa Heinz Kerry controls a foundation which has all of 4% of Heinz stock. That is a lot of money but not a lot of control. And this is his wife's foundation that she has by virtue of a previous marriage. Hardly anything Kerry could do about that is there? Can you say red herring?

6. The Carlisle Group and Halliburton

Have alot of overseas divisions and contacts as well. While Cheney was CEO of Halliburton they did like $28M of business with sadaam and many of the major investors in the Carlisle Group are Saudi's, including the Bin Laden family.

8. Heard this talked about on KDKA radio out of Pittsburgh, the wingnuts

are claiming that part of Heinz profits are going to fund Kerry's
campaign. Also Lush Limbaugh was talking about Heinz having overseas plants. Heinz has sent out 50 letters to talkshow hosts explaining that there are no people named Heinz in the company anymore and they
are not supporting anyone for president. This shows these right
wingers will stop at nothing, what scum!
