Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 11:02 PM by 4_Legs_Good
Sorry, I'm toasted from playing the McCain "My Friends" drinking game, but damn, I was really hoping we could stop tearing each other apart tonight.

Oh well.

4. Well, it may have its advantages.
Clintons in court in LA.

Obama NOT in court in IL.

5. Living in Portland
And watching as Spring barely peeks through the drab and tattered curtain of winter ... I will generally ignore the ugliness, and get re-aquainted with the incredible brews of the Northwest ....

Ok .... I hadn't actually stopped ..... but nevertheless ....

6. It's effectively over
a 100% clinton victory in PA is unlikely, and the only way she can realistically win. unless she wins 100% of the super delegates, which seems exceedingly unlikely.

Math is simply not on her side with her showing tonight. She needed to win by 65% and did not.

9. I don't disagree
I just really don't want us to be fighting all the time. It's depressing. We should be arguing about who hates Bush more, not about which of us should answer the phone in the White House at 3AM when Domino's is calling to see if we ordered a pizza.

18. the fun has just STARTED!!
hey y'all, this is Pollyticks!! Sorry, but the fun has just started. Bloody noses and all. WHY WHY are you all ready to pack it in and pack it up? This is the stuff of LIFE! People once drank hemlock over this. Politics is important, it's about our everyday lives and the crazy media and their undue influence and the ongoing fisticuffs of being involved in life and governing and the bullshit with that Guy -- who is the Guy?? -- Behind the Curtain. We're all Toto, barking and yapping and nipping at the heels of all that threatens to take over our choices and our lives. THIS IS THE FUN PART. It's gonna get dirty and that's not necessarily bad. It's gonna make us all real real mad, and -- that's good. We all still have a pulse. If we don't tear each other apart over this, then what is really worth gettin mad over? THIS is the stuff worth fighting for -- tactics, morals, strategies, even personalities -- whatever you believe is in the mix to make leadership in our stinky dirty world possible. Don't wish it away. Whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger. The Republicans have their Candidate. he looks like tepid, indigestible Dog Meat to me.
