... from day one of this primary, I was positive it was going to be Alan Keyes.

You know, I met Alan Keyes one time. In 2004. He was at a hotel where I worked in Fort Wayne Indiana. I politely introduced myself and told him I thought he was very committed to his cause. He smiled. But when I told him I was a democrat he frowned and just walked away. I was a bit shocked. I suppose I'm lucky that I didn't tell him I was a homosexual democrat; he probably would have shot me.
