It's still the economy stupid!
Obama could have ended this last night if he talked more about MONEY! Talked more about money in this state Ohio. People wanted to believe but it's just getting too scary down here. People are afraid. Of losing their jobs, losing their healthcare, losing their homes, losing their lives!

He can still pull it off if he comes up with an economic plan. Give the job to the genius professor from the University of Chicago. You know the one who thought having secret conversations about "not changing" with the Canadians. An economic plan we can believe in.

I personally think Obama would be a better President. President are figureheads, unlike what the "3 am" commercial says. We can put a stuffed suit in the WH and it doesn't matter if the VP is experienced. Bush is proof of that. Obama a good figurehead/inspirational character with Hillary playing the role of Dick Cheney. I think it's a perfect ticket. But he has to make it happen. if he can't then he should apply for the job of VP. Eight years of training then President.

As far as the race going on, it's a good thing. if you look at the maps of the states. He is getting the cities to the polls, she is getting the rural ares to the polls. All these people are registered, know where to vote and are fired up for November. This is Howard Dean's fifty state strategy on steroids. It's a blueprint for a Dem tsunami if they can pull it off. the people still want to vote. Just think how happy Mississippi and West Virginia are today. This is very exciting and they get to have their voices heard. I'm happy for them.

Warning. Stop calling Hillbots uneducated and old. You will hurt their feelings so bad they won't vote for Obama is he's the nominee. Nobody likes being called "the useless past".

Off to work!

PS. Quit listening to Rush, he's just trying to trick us!

1. WTF?
You just posted earlier that you voted for Hillary due to the fake Canadian thing. You proved that 20 debates and a lifetime of experience and policies and "words" don't measure up to the power of disinformation being slung around on the day before an election. Congrats!!

Yet on the same day as your "ha ha in your face" thread to Obama supporters your're giving advice to Obama supporters to stop calling Hillbots uneducated and old?

WTF?????

Obama just got dealt the kitchen sink strategy from Clinton and he lost Ohio.

Why do you think an Obama supporter wants to hear your advice about us not calling Hillbots things WE DON'T FUCKING CALL THEM ANYWAY.

I just came from a thread where a Hillary supporter was calling an Obama supporter "sexist" for claiming that Hillary is a narcissist.

And that right after I came from another thread where another Hillary supporter called an Obama "sexist" for something equally as ridiculous.

Where is the thread after thread after infinite thread telling Hillary supporters to stop fucking calling Obama supporters "sexist"?

2. I read the OP - then I read this response. FYI - the OP comes off as infinitely
more credible and engaging.

Supporting BO is fine but I can't understand why there has to be so much antagonism around it. It certainly does not help Obama. It certainly does nothing to advance the discourse. It just seems juvenile and reeks of ignorance.

4. Your response to me is so typical, IMO.
We just lost to Hillary Clinton due to her kitchen sink strategy. Her shit flinging strategy. Her classless, scorched earth campaign that I truly believe is damaging the Democratic Party's chances in the GE.

Sorry I'm not above calling out people who post about voting for Clinton over a fake issue who then turn around and call ME out on possibly the worst day I've had (politically) in years to lecture us about calling Clinton supporters names that I've never called them in the first place. Ever.

And You know what else, it doesn't even make me blink to see you calling me the same old typical names that Hillary supporters have been calling Obama supporters all along. It's not like Obama supporters are ever complimented around here or could do anything to avoid the almost robotic nature of attacks from Hillary supporters. The Hillary Clinton supportres I have encountered here (with the exception of Rinsd and seasonedblue) are truly just jerks and I no longer give a shit how mean and ignorant ya'll think *I* am.

5. I supported Edwards, then Obama, then Hillary..
Edwards because I liked what he said on the economy, then Obama cause I was still mad that the Clintons gave us NAFTA.. But after Hillary lost 12 straight elections, she was humbled and she finally got it. Obama on the other hand got COCKY!

It's all about economic models to me. And I think every state should vote. I believe in the 50 state strategy and you got to admit, that 6 months ago you would have believed that it would snow in Hell before young people started counting delegates. It's a good thing.

The longer this goes on the stronger we are. There's no use insulting each other, they will probably work out a deal.

Just ignore it!

8. I disagree that Obama got COCKY and that Hillary finally "got it"
He was much more gracious to her than she was to him. She was mocking him and was called on it at the debate and he tried to preserve the dignity of them both by rising above it and addressing her larger point. She seized on the Farrakahn thing not to defend him but to try and bury him. She mocked the media on national T.V. using Obama as a joke by suggesting they offer him a comfy pillow.

And I don't need a teacher like you talking down to me about the Democratic process when YOU'RE the one who claimed to vote for Hillary while on the way to the polls over the Canadian flap. You bought into that. Not me.

And the icing on the cake in your post was the warning to Obama people on how to treat Hillary's supporters on the night that we lost to her thanks to her divisive win-at-all-cost tactics. Hillary people are nothing but complimentary to everyone here I guess because nobody EVER calls them out on the way they attack Obama supporters. It's such a double standard.

And I don't have to ignore it just because I dont' like it. Take you're own advice if you don't like people who disagree with you. You're the one trying to school everybody. If you *really* thought Obama was the better President but voted for Hillary I really think you need to check your own principles before preaching.

6. Maybe. We have to work on that. Bush will dump fear on the country
to help McCain. We have to be ready. but the economy is going to get worse and people are more afraid of that. It's a fear/fear election.
Neutralize their fear by accusing them of manufactoring it, then capitalize on our fear by telling voters we are coming to the rescue.

We need solid plans for what we will do about the credit crisis. We need some kind of bailout NOT for the banks but for the homeowners. We need to engage voters on the healthcare plan. We need to make the CC cards lower interest ranks by capping them.

We can do it!!!!!
