Here's what has to be going on.
Last night many thousands of dems signed in at their precincts and cast a second vote for who they wanted to get the at-large, caucus delegates. They gave their names, addresses, etc., and voted for HRC or BHO. People tallied up the number of votes each candidate got, apportioned the delegate count for the precinct.
Then the caucus goers stood around and decided who would be the BHO delegates and who would be the HRC delegates and alternates.
Today, tomorrow, and for the indefinite future, somebody has to go and verify that all the people that signed in actually did vote dem in the precinct they signed in at. This could alter the provisional delegate apportionment from last night, making some alternates voting delegates and vice-versa.
I figure they'll make this info public when it's available.
Next step: County conventions, converting precinct delegates to state delegates. State delegates choose some national delegates at a state convention, adding them to those decided during the primary vote. Party officials also choose some delegates; when they decide that is anybody's guess. Is that Democratic enough for you?
