If you missed this, you can check it now now. The Bush administration had accused Letterman of putting the kid in the video with them there fancy-ass pinko special effects. Nice job, Chimpy.

An external prankster? An internal malcontent? A CNN higher-up fearing Bush's wrath? Don't forget there were two alleged calls, one saying the kid wasn't there but had been edited in, the other saying that the kid WAS there, but had been edited in. Doesn't CNN know who made the calls? Or did the White House made the calls, then flip-flop when they saw it wasn't working out PR-wise? Oh, and how did CNN get the tape in the first place--the White House or TiVo?
