You can't even watch the Baseball Game

without seeing Chimpy new gas ads about Kerry. I think he has brought a ton of time on ESPN.

At the end of the ad it says.

"Maybe Kerry should think about what his gas policies would mean to the rest of us"

Why hasn't Kerry defended himself on these 'gas tax' allegations? They say he has supported higher gas, I think 15 times? Why no rebuttal. Is it true?

1. welcome to "outspend your opponent 101"

there was an analysis a while back that showed that most of the "15 times" we multiple votes on the same bill, and some of them were merely votes to preserve the status quo (to kill a tax cut).

in any event, bush is OBVIOUSLY in favor of high gas prices, just look at who his buddies are and what his policies are. no conservation, no money for alternatives, war in the middle east, pro-suvs.

duhhh.

4. Kerry should be out front saying

"If that 50 cent tax on gas had come to vote and passed, damn, we'd be paying maybe as much as two dollars a gallon, Oh, nevermind".
Or. "Would you rather 50 cents a gallon be going to pay down the national debt or , as it is now, into the pockets of the friends of George Bush".
