(Coming Soon) The Press vs. Hillary Clinton

I thought I would just whip this one out. Boy, was I underestimating the hatred of the corporate media for Hillary Clinton. All you Hillary bashers out there who think you come by your Hillary hatred naturally-- boy are you in for a surprise. You have been drinking MSM Koolaid All you Obama supporters who think that your man did it it all by his lonesome---you are going to be shocked, absolutely shocked at how much corporate media support your candidate has had since January of 2007. All you Hillary supporters--it is not your imagination. The entire mainstream media is out to get Hillary. And every mini campaign that they initiate against her has the direct effect of making Obama's campaign stronger in the primary election---but will end up weakening him in the general.

So far I have 35 (!!!!) pages of links and notes to work with. It has taken me about six hours to go through just Media Matters. Since it is almost 5 am here I am going to call it a night and do some more research tomorrow. MM sort of scrimps on some journalists that I know probably have done a little more Hillary bashing than MM gives them credit for.

This will be a first for me. A document about a media campaign against a candidate before the candidate has been bumped out of the race. Complete with names, because journalists need to credit for their media whore ways. If Hillary really is the crazed, knife wielding Lady MacBeth that they describe her as being they had better watch out!

Jesus Christ! How is Hillary still in the Democratic Primary? Maybe she really does have super powers. Or maybe women, who make up a lot of her supporters, can see through a media smear.

It has never been a secret that in order to kill Obama for the GE, you have to get rid of Hillary first. Anyone who thinks Rove has not been working overtime on this, I have some swamp land for you. This has been in the works by the Right Wing since Obama announced. Build up Hillary, get rid of Edwards so the corporations would be happy, then get Hillary out of the way and go after Obama. All part of the plan and now that you have Dems divided, makes it easier for the plan to work.

I don't think she's fit to be the nominee. She might make a capable president but she's all wrong to be the standard bearer of the party.

Now let me inform YOU. I don't watch TV. Haven't in many a year. I don't even have TV. I don't listen to trash radio- ever. I read a wide variety of material. I surf the net.


Yes, the MSM has been unfair to Hillary, but she's responsible for part of it, and she's actually done things to earn the ire of real dems.

Hillary was named the front runner in the first place, before 04 was even over, by the media. They could have named someone more...er....experienced. Like Biden, Dodd, etc. But they didn't.

She has had the lion's share of media coverage, most of it positive all through last Spring, Summer and into the Fall. When Obama started to do better, he got some media play too and this, I guess, is what is driving the Hillary "entitlement crowd" into a tizzy.

No candidate could lose 11 primaries/caucuses in a row and be taken seriously as a contender. Except for Queen Hillary. The Hillary campaign's talking points are dutifully reported in the media.

Just this morning as I was listening to NPR they were reporting about the Obama campaign being like Ken Starr. I guess because they are wanting Hillary to be good on her promise to release her tax records and records on the Clinton Library that have been years in coming. Source was the Clinton "conference call". Isn't it interesting that the media doesn't have to really do any work any more, they just listen to the spin coming from a campaign's "conference call" and call it news. The conference call sets the topics the media dutifully talk about in the next news cycle. Oh yeah, the media are out to get Hillary. Right.....

Maybe Hillary is doing as well as she is because a lot of women, as you said, think she is being picked on by the media. Maybe it is a group whine. Maybe it is a cult. I don't know. Cults are notorious for thinking the outside world is out to get them, and paranoia reigns supreme.

They are, with out a shadow of a doubt, shrilling to keep this race going with all Hillary, all day, all channels.

They could tell the truth about Fla. and MI. but they don't. They could tell the whole truth in regards to Naftagate, but they don't. Hopefully, KO will keep pointing things out since he's the sole progressive sounding anchor in major media.

But Hillary supporters have decried KO as a hack because he doesn't kiss the ass of the Republicrat. The MSM steered Tuesday's election with endless loops of the bullshit NAFTA-gate, the Rezko trial, and Tubbs-Jones. All flowers and balloons for Ms. 3AM. Viva la Olbermann!

The press has been smearing Hillary for nigh onto 20 years. It's simple neurology--you cannot possibly hear that much hatred, repeated that much, and not be influenced by it.

After being a staunch Clinton supporter in the 90s, I watched her Senate behavior, cozying up to Bush and calculatingly vote for IWR. Then I have watched her primary campaign... experienced, ready on day one. Bullshit. But same repuke modus operandi: repeat some mantra (lie) often and loudly enough until the dweebs think it's true.

I never trusted the media, now I don't trust, and can't stand, her. And the media had nothing to do with it. It's her claculation, her triangulation, her hiring the likes of such loathesome people as Dick Morris, Mark Penn and Harold Wolson -- birds of a feather.
