Poll question: Who is sick of all this cheer/jeer McCain VP nonsense.
Who is sick of this crap?
Who cares about this stupid rumor.
It is very very very very very very very unlikely McCain would be seriously considered and even less unlikely McCain would agree. Can we stop spreading this media rumorbait like preteens once and for all!

1. I think it is fascinating to see how so many "staunch Dems" have...
absolutely no standards. Frightening really.

2. ABB is a strong force
but putting an (R) on the ticket would not happen. It would probably do us more damage. Rethugs are stuck on chimp they would never even jump off the Titanic. But liberals would move to nader or the greens.

7. I'm ABB, and I'm not falling for it
Regardless of my political leanings, I'm not stupid enough to belive that the Dem nominee for VP is going to be McCain, a Repuke who has endorsed Bush* for President.

ABB has nothing to do with it. Intelligence does.

3. I agree. Where are their principals?
McCain is a right-wing Republican. You want a guy like that on the ticket? And if something happens to Kerry, he's our president? Sheesh!

5. You're just now realizing that?
Hell, I realized that one a long time ago, and John McCain had nothing to do with it.

6. I realized it back when ABB started making the rounds
Any party that has a popular movement about not having consequences for its leaders is really in bad shape

4. I'm sick of the entire VP debate
I wish Kerry would name the VP in five minutes, just so we can get past this, and talk about something else, and put our energies into stuff we can actually affect.

But I am especially sick of the McCain VP debate. McCain has said out loud on national tv that he wants George W. Bush re-elected. Is that not enough to end this nonsense?

There are those who have to get their digs into ABB, so they will ignore reality.

9. the reality
is that more than a few folks right here on good ol' "extreme left" DU think having McCain on the ticket is a great idea.

11. Like I said
there are no limits to stupidity

And I'm glad we have you around to help quantify it. We wouldn't want to miss any of it, now would we? If we missed some, it would that much harder for you to point out how not left we are.

13. if he was
he would have switched to independent around the time jeffords switched. and he wouldn't be campaigning for bush. even though i know he doesn't really want to campaign for bush he feels he has to as a republican which is more evidence he has no plans to switch and run with kerry.

No more of these posts! I think I'll start hiding all threads with Nader and McCain in the titles.
