Poll question: What are the chances bushco will postpone/cancel the election?
You may want to read Maureen Farrell's column at today's Buzzflash before voting.

2. 10% or less
As much as I despise them and think them capable of the worst, postponing or canceling a 200+ year tradition might trigger open rebellion and confrontation.

9. Uh, they already did that the LAST time
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 03:34 PM by AntiCoup2k
And relatively few people seemed to give a shit

Besides, open rebellion and confrontation will be much more difficult under martial law :scared:

11. Different situation
This poll is asking about postponement or cancellation, not whether or not they will steal or attempt to steal the election. I stand by my original statement.

6. I do not think he will stop the election but they will try and steal it
I'm sure that they need to remain in power. They will do anything to stay there. It will be stolen by electronic means, by intimidating voters, not counting votes and what ever they did in FL in 2000 will happen all over the country.

I don't think Bush could win an honest election.

8. I would truly hate to think they would go THAT low
Not that I'd be surprised, but seriously... that's a little too overt for them.

10. If it gets this out of hand
I can almost guarantee the Freepers that they will see their beloved President assassinated. Too many people hate Bush to allow him to fuck the laws over and destroy our democracy. If he takes away the right to vote him out, people will take him out.

14. 0%, they don't need to cancel it
they control the voting machines. A better question would be will they steal it again...100% YES they will. :-(

16. If it happens...they would lose more blood than votes!
But they wouldn't dare risk total anarchy just for another four years...
