Personally, I am so disappointed in the HRC campaign...
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 12:17 PM by HardWorkingDem
With all the recent stuff going on, I am so disappointed in the HRC campaign. I really am.

One thing I like to tell people is that there is very little more dangerous than a cornered, white male conservative about to lose power. Those folks will do anything to maintain that power.

Sadly, this is the same thing I am seeing with the HRC campaign. Her constant beefing up of McCain, her dirty politics and now her seemingly outrage over the word "monster" while failing to offer a tepid defense of the attempt to slur Obama by labeling him a Muslim (now, I'm not denigrating Muslim's, only pointing out that the way "Muslim" was used in that interview was clearly to done to use it in a manner framed by "Islamofascism").

Wanting the Florida delegates seated is the final straw. Florida and Michigan did not follow the rules, so tough shit. If their politicians want their delegates seated, then let them pay for it. They are the ones that made the decisions to move up the primaries, not the national DNC.

But for HRC to want them seated to count for her, tough shit.

If she had any integrity she would push to just have them split up fifty-fifty.

1. INTEGRITY????
I almost lost my eggs and toast with that one-she is a disgusting example of a human being, I half expect her head to split open and a fire breathing dragon take it's place-I feel for her the same way I feel about Joe LIEberman and Zell Miller

2. Disappointed?
Not strong enough an emotion for what I feel about what she has done in the past 3 weeks in her campaign. I'm beyond furious with her. She is nothing more than a traitor to her party and deserves to lose the nomination based on her baseless attacks and dispicable behavior.

She's all about herself.

"Hillary is not a monster...as far as I know."

even Obama's poker face couldn't lie that good. She's so out of touch with reality it's sad.

8. Ridiculous
I'm sure if it was obamonster you would feel differently about a fifty fifty split. We can also have respect for politicians of the other party. certainly a supporter of the uniter should see that.
his claim to being the uniter paired with his arrogance kind of reminds me of rep. who was arrogant as well but called himself the decider.

Please no more arrogant inexperience in the White house.

10. "arrogant inexperience"?
OK, name Hillary's "experience". What was her security clearance level? What cabinet meetings did she attend? What treaties did she broker? Sorry, sleeping with the president doesn't qualify as experience any more that being a surgeon's wife qualifies her to do surgery.

11. security clearance so what!
Refer to Geraldine Ferraro and her comments about all of the world leaders Hill met with in her presence. Obama met with who? he did what? His clearance has been?
And when questioned he whines and runs off stage.

13. Try to be fair...
Exactly when did Obama have the opportunity to meet with these so called world leaders? Especially in contrast with HRC being married to BC in the White House for 8 years?

And frankly, just WHAT has HRC and her 35 years of "experience" got us as Dems?

Have unions strengthened?

Did the Democratic Party get stronger or weaker under the Clintons?

How about gay rights?

How about protecting our soldiers?

Health care?

Environment?

About the only thing HRC has continued to excel in is enabling Bush.

17. Copy from another thread about why she inspires me
Here's what inspires me. Not speeches.

This is what I feel she and the Clinton campaign did for me. This is where I get my inspiration. Inspiration from these actions.

I'm inpsired when I can pay a fair wage for a hard days work and my employees have money left over to lead a proserous life after they pay their bills

I'm inspired when I can pay my employees enough to afford health insurance to take care of themselves and relieve that concern.

I'm inspired when new customers pull their jobs from overseas and give us a chance here in the US

I'm inspired when I see new job postings or need to hire more people due to economic growth.

I'm inspired when the govt doesn't just throw money at the lower class they investigate solutions to poverty that will change it rather than enable it.

My economic growth has never been positive during republican govts. But I will say for all of the Clinton critics, economically it was far better
than we have seen over several presidencies. I would be proud to suffer the excess wealth of those days. Throw in an affair or two if it helps.

My president doesn't govern my morality , I do that, therefore I'm not here to judge his.
I believe in separation of church and state as well as a presidents right to his marital privacy.

Bill Clinton was a great President. He lied and he shouldn't have, but I dare say some of the very men on the DU throwing stones have done the very same.

The Clintons promote american prosperity.

20. point made about Obama supps
Acknowledged, finally you guys acknowledge.

When you want to say not another 8 years of Clintonism it's O.k., but when HRC supporters want to point out the quality of life during Bill's days
you guys want to separate the two. You can't have it both ways.

Granted she is her own candidate, but she will benefit from 8 years in a successful white House. A great deal of my employees don't follow politics, but you can't be around me and not hear about it.
They gained knowledge of issues from all sides just by association. She gained a great deal of knowledge and experience while Bill was President. and the things she opposed are some of the talking points of
Obamas campaign. Dude.

which resulted in an expansion of WMD nonproliferation legislation. There has been other legislation and trips as well, but I suspect you won't care and will forget in an hour anyway.

12.  Eleanor Roosevelt had 16 years of experience if we use the same idiotic definiton
used by Bill Clinton's wife. Brett Favre's wife had 17 years experience, maybe she should GB the Pack.

16. actually, Eleanor did a lot of FDR's politicking and meetings
since his mobility was limited. That is the one case where a President's wife had extensive experience, and she would have made a most capable and excellent president in her own right.
