Obama's Integrity is Shown in His Firing of Samatha Powers
You have to wonder, would Hillary Clinton have fired staff if someone said something as strong as Powers did? Don't tell me about the muslim emails...that was before Iowa and before their desperate "kitchen sink" strategy was rolled out. Senator Obama has a lot of integrity and respect for the office he is running for. He's not being driven by power unlike others still in the race.

3. She resigned. Shows her integrity.. I do hope we get a
fuller story, because I'm by no means taking any integrity away from him.

4. I agree, I support Clinton, but asking Power to resign was a sign of honor.
As I've said on DU many times, we've got two good potential presidents in the running.

15. I wish I could say the same but
hilary has crossed the line too many times starting with her vote FOR the Iraqi War Resolution without even reading the 90 page NIE..and she's gone down hill from there. "There just isn't any hypocricy like Hilary Hypocricy".

Never trust the media Samantha. "Off the record" is code for rush to print.

20. How the hell do you know that she resigned on her own,
and wasn't asked to resign? I think that is very highly unlikely for Obama or Power.

6. No one said Hillary had intergrity when she "fired ' stffer asociated with inappropriate things
about Obama. They mocked her when she removed Shaneen. It was appropriate that powers resigned and Kudos to Obama for approving it.

13. If nothing else, this was a smart move.
I'm very sad to see her go, but I suspect she'll keep doing some work behind the scenes. But this completely disarms any complaint the Clintons may have about what she said.

19. Monster
Hitler and Stalin are examples of real-life monsters. For someone who is running on judgement rather than the value of experience, it seems that Obama is showing why he shouldn't be President by associating himself with a top foreign policy advisor who doesn't have the judgement to distinguish between Hillary and Hitler. Or a science advisor who can't answer science questions at a science debate and refers reporters to the Obama web site. Or an economic advisor who creates NAFTA-gate. The office of President is not the place for neophytes.
