Wake up Naderites. You are being used!
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 08:32 PM by Cascadian
I cannot believe people are still buying into supporting him. Are they dilusional, high, or what???

I cannot understand why they don't have a clue to the fact they are only hurting themselves. I could understand why they would have supported in 96 (I did!) but this is not the time. It makes me want to pull my hair out.

And if Nader truly wanted to do something about progressivism, why on Earth did he not support Howard Dean or Dennis Kucinich? The more I think about it, the more I am convinced this is ego driven.

By the way, I had not heard whether the Greens were going to front a candidate. Are they going to throw their support to Kerry? The latter would be wise at this time.

Once again....GIVE IT UP RALPH! NADERITES WAKE UP!!!!

2. I don't care if they put up a candidate
but I don't think they're stupid enough to nominate Nader again..

Even Nader himself PLANS on running AS a spoiler "two fronts against Bush"

4. We can discuss duopoly later.
I have always said that this is not the time for divisions. There must be united front for now to get rid of the neocon monkeys. I am all for a multiparty democracy but these issues can rest for now.

now is not the time or the place.

I am all for multiparty democracy's as well, but as another DU-er said, "we need to stop the bleeding, before we can tend to the scar." err uhm, something like that... ;)

5. I wonder if some of the progressives that are now backing
the Kerry campaign will ever return to their roots.
I guess you can call me a "Naderite" "Green" "Natural Law Party" "Leftist" "almost Anarchist" I know what I am not and that is a Democrat............

I really think the left being as divided as it is going to commit suicide if we start supporting more than one candidate at this very crucial time. This election will be the most important one in the history of the Union. We are going to have choose between a return to the America that used to be. A nation respected worldwide or a nation bent on world domination and hated and feared. Plus one bent on the destruction of our freedoms and the subsequently the planet. I choose the first option. Kerry is not my first choice and if he does flip flop any further, then I will call B.S. on it and those who agree with every little thing that contradicts the progressive principles of the Democratic Party. I will still vote for him to get rid of Bush though. Let us set aside our differences to get rid of the Neocons. The other details can wait for now.

10. Howard Dean was on Oregon radio telling them what a vote for him would do.
Yesterday, I think. Or the day before. He was very blunt. He has met with him to no avail.
