Milwaukee election results: Barrett, Walker look like winners

232 of 314 (74%) Precincts Reporting
Tom Barrett 68,601 58%
Marvin Pratt 50,536 42%


County Executive
Milwaukee
357 of 463 (77%) Precincts Reporting
Scott Walker(R) (I) 108,120 58%
David Riemer (D) 77,069 42%

Walker already projected winner. Barrett looks close. Very divided among racial lines.

2. Mayor race called for Barrett
And the gap narrowed quite a bit.

Mayor
Milwaukee
277 of 314 (88%) Precincts Reporting
Tom Barrett 76,886 54%
Marvin Pratt 64,942 46%

Again, this is a highly segregated city, with Pratt (who is African-American) dominating the north side vote and former US Rep (and Democrat) Barrett dominating the south side.
