If Obama can be pushed around by Hillary Clinton.

Iran, Syria, North Korea, and Al Qaeda will all draw their own conclusions.

1. I see it very differently. He wasn't pushed around. He demonstrated commitment to his promise.
Hillary just handed Obama an enormous victory. A presidential candidate made a promise to keep his campaign positive - and he kept that promise!

For seven years we've watched the pig in the White House lie and lie and lie and never once keep a promise. What a breath of fresh air to see Obama follow through on a promise he made!

If Hillary caused this, she just made a big mistake.

5. Hillary makes a very public call for her removal
Obama asks for her resignation. He should have done it immediately or done it so it would not appear to be in response.

Basic politics.

8. I totally disagree. Nobody knew about it until Hillary fussed.
Obama instantly reacted, making this a non-story EXCEPT that a lot of people think it was nasty of Hillary to put the aid out of work.

Game for Obama.

14. "Hillary put the aid(e) out of work"?
What else can Hillary do to his team?

20. People's perceptions are what matter in politics.
The perception of this is:

1. Somebody called Hillary a monster and she got so mad that the somebody lost their job. People perceive that kind of thing as petty and vindictive. Nobody will remember that the somebody said something rude. They'll remember that Hillary overreacted.

2. Now the word "monster" is tied to Hillary's name, since she's made this a much bigger story than it otherwise would have been. People expect to see candidates ignore dumb little things like being called names. Hillary should have laughed it off and said something gracious. That would have made her look good.

3. Instead, now Obama is the one who looks good. He stepped in and fired an aide who said something rude. Obama kept his promise to keep his campaign positive, while Hillary ends up looking like a crybaby.

That's the way I see it, and the way a lot of other people will see it.

22. That ended when his campaign labeled the Clintons as racists in SC. nt

25. Again, most people's perception of SC is that Bill Clinton behaved badly.
Obama didn't have to label the Clintons racists. Other people did that for him. Bill Clinton made that possible.

34. More people are now aware that Obama's camp did the race baiting.

Helped tremendously by the media.

The purpose - to recover from New Hampshire and win South Carolina any way they could.

Really, Democrats and even Republicans are astounded that the Clintons would be labeled racist.

to *make* him look bad.

2. When has she pushed him around?
He's kicking her ass in delegates, states, and popular vote.

It's the media that she's manipulating, not Obama.

24. Clinton camp is now playing the media like violins. The media will comply until the Dem nominee
has been chosen.

They will then offer McCain an even bigger pillow.

4. How has he been "pushed around"
From what I can see, it's Hillary who has a glass jaw. She can dish out all the lies and bullshit she can invent about Obama, but someone calls her a monster and she goes apeshit.

This was a big mistake on Hillary's part.

10. Obama is standing strong while Hillary dances around and
tries to rabbit punch from 40 paces. Oh, yes, the rest of the world understands exactly. A more graceless and unprofessional candidate cannot be found than Hillary Clinton.

12. If Hillary can't take a little name calling
she sure as hell won't be "ready on day one"

This plays right into the hands of those that posit a woman's "feelings" prohibit her from the highest office in the land

JUST KIDDING! She will go and whine to the UN about how unfair the opposing leaders comments were, and that there is a double standard when it comes to American and non-american world leaders.

can doing the right thing be interpreted as a vistory. I guess when you watch sports games you figure 'huh, if they let the referee push them around like that they don't deserve to win!'

21. Bad analogy
Hillary is a Democrat, not a (registered) Republican. You have to compare how Obama would handle disagreements with England, Canada, Mexico, some of the oil-rich countries and our allies in Iraq with how he handles disagreements with Clinton. He doesn't want to destroy the party.

And I bet the countries you mentioned know this.
