I just caught a little bit of Keith and have a question.
Why does Hillary say McCain passes the threshold for becoming President yet some of her high-ranking military endorsers say McCain is a danger and is too hot-headed to be President?

8. I believe she was referring to experience and not judgment.
I don't trust McCain or BO's judgement.

13. I should have used the sarcasm emoticon, I see.
You missed the point. I don't trust Hillary's judgment and she doesn't have tons of experience either.

19. She calls him her good friend and says he met the CIC threshhold. Having bad
judgement is not meeting the CIC threshhold. But Hillary doesn't have good judgement, either.

9. comprehension is not high on DU tonight - Hillary said public perception was CinC Hill or
McCain no problem - but there is no such perception for Obama - and that happens to be a truth - a fact - deal with it.

12. When "retired" Generals start talking "smack" about
specific politicians, I get really worried.

Perhaps these high-level officers have not informed Sen. Clinton of their observations?

17. I'll be honest. I thought I heard military officers from both camps
and non-committed Pentagon officials as well. It was more a narrative of how hot-tempered McCain was than anything else.

hot headed to be president. I don't believe a word Keith says anymore. He hates Hillary.

14. here:
http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7010265327

Salon.com reported the concerns of several retired military officers about what one of them said was McCain's "knee-jerk response" to issues on Thursday.

"I like McCain. I respect McCain. But I am a little worried by his knee-jerk response factor," said former Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton, who supports Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY).

"When everybody else goes nuts, the president of the United States needs to get cooler and cooler," added retired Rear Adm. John Hutson, a supporter of Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL).

22. Here's link to article in Salon that discussion came from
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/03/06/commander_in_chief/

(snip)
But that's not necessarily the case, say senior military officials and political analysts. In interviews with Salon this week, several experienced military officers said McCain draws mixed reviews among military leaders, and they expressed serious doubts about whether McCain has the right temperament to be the next president and commander in chief. Some expressed more confidence in Obama, citing his temperament as an asset.

(snip)

"I studied leadership for a long time during 32 years in the military," said retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Scott Gration, a one-time Republican who is supporting Obama. "It is all about character. Who can motivate willing followers? Who has the vision? Who can inspire people?" Gration asked. "I have tremendous respect for John McCain, but I would not follow him."

(snip)

16. She doesn't that is what Keith, Rachel, Matthews are saying.
She says McCain has experience and that she has experience and that Obama has a speech.

it is a political tract, she is not endorsing John McCain for president.

She has never said McCain passes the threshold.

Shaming Hillary, Pity Me Hillary, Funny Hillary, Crying Hillary...? It really depends on WHICH Hillary said it.

I would sure love to see that. I read and saw the video of her saying McCain has experience, but I never saw her say anything like you quoted her saying. I anxiously await the link to verify your post. Thanks in advance for giving us all the link!!

24. link
http://weblogs.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/blog/2008/03/clinton_ive_crossed_commanderi.html

“I think that since we now know Sen. (John) McCain will be the nominee for the Republican Party, national security will be front and center in this election. We all know that. And I think it’s imperative that each of us be able to demonstrate we can cross the commander-in-chief threshold,” the New York senator told reporters crowded into an infant’s bedroom-sized hotel conference room in Washington.

“I believe that I’ve done that. Certainly, Sen. McCain has done that and you’ll have to ask Sen. Obama with respect to his candidacy,” she said.

According to Hillary, insane warmongers who generals and Republican Senator's think is too hotheaded to be President are fine by her.
