If FL and MI were just stripped of half of their delegates
Hillary will only pick up about 50 delegates, based on the primary votes (assuming the superdelegates can't vote). Even with those delegates, Hillary is most likely going to lose on the delegate count.

Considering that this was what the original penalty should have been, this is probably the best way to go.

1. I disagree
In MI many people didn't vote because we knew beforehand that it wouldn't count. No way either state should count. Both should have a re-vote that actually counts. Funds for the re-vote should come equally out of Obama and Hillary's pocket. They could do something creative like an Internet vote to keep costs down. I am sure something can be figured out. If there isn't, those two states are more likely to swing Republican.

2. I agree that that solution is workable and fair.
MI will have to do something, though, since their primary didn't even include most of the candidate's name on the ballot.

FL did have a valid vote, though.
