Obama Supporters: Boycott SNL
I think we can all agree that SNL has become part of the Clinton team's media echo chamber at this point. With Tina Fey giving pro-Clinton weekend updates (she's the lead writer, no?), skits portraying Obama as unintelligent, and in on the Clinton's "media bias" meme that they use to manipulate the coverage of news shows to present a pro-Clinton slant. Clinton herself, of course, appeared on the show and cited the show in the last debate.

I invite all my fellow Obama supporters to write NBC and tell them that we are no longer watching their show, and of course, boycott SNL as well. Nothing scares the networks more than losing the young demographic so a mass of letters from younger people should grab their attention.

58. I don't think so. I don't watch every show, but I've seen many shows where they made fun of Obama.
Playing singing angels when his picture appears on the back screen and such. Same thing that SNL does.

I have not seen any bad remarks against Clinton. Not saying there haven't been. There probably have been, since there have been satires against Obama. Just that I haven't seen any.

The worst thing of all, though, is NOT to be made fun of at all.

Supporters should get a sense of humor.

22. Sorry, but I'm an Obama supporter and I didn't think the sketches were that bad.
They were clearly mocking both of them. As for a pro-Clinton bias, it probably has more to do with Amy Poehler doing a great impression of her than an actual interest in the outcome of the primary.

33. Nope. I won't. I don't get into this knee-jerk bullshit.
This is no different than the people that are now trashing KO because he is tough with Clinton.

SNL is free to express their opinions, and I don't mind them doing so. I really hate the way primary seasons causes everyone to make knee-jerk "disownments" of everything under the sun if they don't all march in perfect lock-step.

39. My thoughts as well...
I support Obama, but who gives a shit about a comedy sketch show whose time has come & gone? Haven't watched since Eddie Murphy left. I don't like these calls for boycotts everytime someone says something you don't agree with.

Makes Obama supporters seem as small & petty as the Clintonites.

44. LOL I suppose I am already
but my reasons are a lot simpler. I just don't think it's funny or has been, for several years now.

As for Tina Fey, I still think she's very creative and talented - I've seen a few episodes of Thirty Rock and I found it be pretty funny. Everyone has their biases and I personally can excuse them - well to the point at which they cease to be funny ala Dennis Miller.
