Did I hear Bush say, in front of everyone today, that he did not

remember who the interim FBI head was during the August PDB?

He said that there was no director at the time...I haven't found a link to it yet, too busy watching the hockey playoffs.

And I read it, and obviously, was discomforted about the fact that Osama bin Laden hated America. But as I mentioned yesterday, we already knew that. And the fundamental question is, what was -- was there any actionable intelligence. And by that I mean, was there anything that the agency could tell me that would then cause me to have to do something to make a decision to protect America.

How does it flow up the the POTUS? From what shrub said, it sounds as if he talked to the agency directly asking for the PDB, they gave it to him and he read it. Is that how it happened?? MAKE UP YOUR MIND IDIOT (don't mean you, soup - talking to shrub).
I notice he used the word "assessment" - that's not quite the same as historical information.

And, his stupidity is the main reason why they do not dare let him testify in front of the 9/11 Commission without his ventriloquist Cheney sitting next to him. TOO STUPID TO BE pRESIDENT.

He was acting director in 2001 until Sept,4.. He will be testifying at the 9-11 commission this week I believe..

They can't use the excuse that the FBI was not functioning since the Acting Director was the Deputy Director under Freeh.
