Just curious - How many of us were at one time well know Clinton apologists

Offline, I am know as a Clinton man - I have a pic of her in my office, plenty of Hillary political pins (courtesy of the DLC) that anyone can have for the askin, carried petitions for her in 2000 and 2006 for her senate runs (she didn't even need these to be signed, we did it to show support). I even had a Hillary bumper sticker on my old car.

I was a Clintonista... I was a Clinton apologizer. I defended her on every corner, everytime.

Ever since her hawkish war side has shown itself, I've loathed the DLC and all it has brought us. Including Hillary.

How many of us were Hillary defenders at one time? Still?

While I think that Obama can talk the talk, I know he ain't pure like my boys Dennis Kucinich or Bernie Sanders. I liked DK and Edwards this time around, and now I am all up on BO.

Any other Hillary defenders out there in the same boat? HOLLA!

1. My "Clinton 92" event worker's tag still hangs in my hallway,
I defended him to my Democratic girlfriend when he was being impeached. I said there was nothing to the Whitewater investigations, that it was all political witch hunt. I donated to Hillary's first senate campaign.

Then she voted for the IWR.

The last thing I want to see now is a Clinton in the WH.

4. It depends. These people aren't gods or demons.

If someone's addressing someone unfairly, I'll address the unfairness... whether they're trashing them unfairly or puffing them up unfairly.

5. I voted for Clinton on Super Tuesday, but now back Obama.
Because, to me, it is over. The people have spoken.

There is no way Clinton can win unless she users supers to thrwart the will of the majority of voters.

So, it is over.

Time to back our nominee and get on with it.

6. Clinton '92 was the first political campaign I was ever involved with
I went door to door in Sausalito (which is full of HILLS) for them.

I'm now hoping never to see them darken my metaphorical door again. x(

9. I became one due to the way the rethugs hunted them through
Bill's entire administration. I didn't start questioning his policies until I got more involved in politics 4 years ago. That is when I learned more about NAFTA, the DLC, etc. I still would have defended him to the end if I knew all that because it was practically war between D's and R's, but I now strongly prefer NOT to have another DLCer in the white House if I can have a Democrat who is not one. DLC is still better than RNC, but that's not good enough.
